Resonance of Surveillance Capitalism
In July and August 2019, thousands of tiny, raw porcelain pieces were each hand-cut. On September 11th, 2019 the batch was loaded into the kiln and fired. During the next 4 months, these pieces were each painted gold and fused together on a wall mirror – piece by piece to compose a single 3D frequency pattern. The accumulation of these countless tiny fake gold structures form a collective resonance – a visual pattern reverberating aerial swaths of suburban commodities surveyed below from my airline window seat.
